Are you ready to follow through on those good intentions? We understand that it can be difficult to get back on track. Because the last thing you want is to be in an overcrowded gym where you don't really know where to begin. A positive experience is an important part of staying motivated. You want a training method that is effective and where you can start from any training level. So discover circuit training! Read on to find out what it is and why it is suitable for any fitness level.

What is circuit training?

In essence, circuit training is a combination of different exercises. Because you perform the exercises in immediate succession without rest, it is a hugely effective way to train your whole body. Have you done all repetitions of each exercise? Then your first round is over.

At Circle-Fit, the circuit consists of eight different exercises. Each exercise focuses on a different muscle group. This makes circuit training suitable for achieving a variety of fitness goals, such as: losing weight, building muscle strength and staying fit.

Different fitness levels

It's important to train at your own level. This prevents injuries, because you don't start too heavy, which also makes it easier to stay motivated. Within fitness, we distinguish between three different fitness levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced.

Beginner

As a beginner, you will be introduced to circuit training and exercising. Here, it is important that you learn to master the exercise and master techniques. For instance, a good warm-up and cool-down are essential to prevent injuries.

Since you are new to working out, your muscles, tendons and joints are not used to heavy weights and complicated exercises. A gentle build-up is the best way to achieve your fitness goals. Based on an intake interview, we determine what your level is. Circle-fit's super modern fitness machines automatically adjust to your body and training level. This way, you can be sure that you perform the exercises properly and achieve the best results.

Average fitness level

At an average training level, your muscles, tendons and joints are used to training with weights. But make no mistake. Even as an average athlete, it is important to execute techniques properly during your training. At an average training level, you use circuit training to maintain your level and progress from there. Little by little, you'll notice that you can go heavier and heavier, and that fitness goal is getting closer and closer.

Advanced fitness level

You visit the gym regularly. Yet you find that you are not achieving your desired goals. Then the question becomes: to what extent you are doing the right training? Humans are creatures of habit. Maybe you've always been into strength training, or more into cardio. The secret to achieving your fitness goals lies precisely in the combination. With circuit training, you build muscle strength and work on your fitness at the same time, as you immediately move on to the next exercise. One thing is for sure: with circuit training, you will always have enough challenge in your workout to keep progressing.
